Our mission is to inspire and empower others to create bee safe neighborhoods and communities in Minneapolis and beyond!
Bee Safe Connectors are the worker bees in the field, reaching out to their neighbors or community members and collecting bee safe pledges to organize:

Bee Safe Neighborhoods: A neighborhood in which at least 75 contiguous households have pledged to not use systemic poisons in their gardens and yards.

Bee Safe Communities: A group made up of less than 75 households who have pledged to not use systemic poisons in their gardens and yards and can include churches, schools, co-housing communities, retirement communities, rural areas, etc.
We follow the guidelines set out by The Living Systems Institute.
You don’t have to know all the answers, or know every person who lives in your neighborhood or community. You don’t have to do all the work yourself. Just bring your passion to help build the buzz!
